Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

South West Fuels is a bottled gas delivery company supplying propane, butane, solid fuels, and related equipment. By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Ordering & Payment

• Orders can be placed via our website, telephone, or email. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. • Payment must be made in full either at the time of ordering or upon delivery. Until full payment is received, all goods remain the property of South West Fuels.

2.1 Bottled Gas Orders

• Customers purchasing bottled gas must have a Calor empty cylinder to exchange or purchase a cylinder refill agreement. • If an empty cylinder is not available for exchange, or proof of a cylinder refill agreement is not provided, we may refuse the order. In such cases, a refund may be issued, subject to additional charges. • Gas cylinders remain our property unless the customer has purchased a deposit under a Cylinder Refill Agreement (CRA).

2.2 Order Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders can be cancelled within 14 days, and refunds will be processed as promptly as possible. • If an order is cancelled due to customer error, a charge may apply. • If the cancellation is due to an error on our part, a full refund will be issued.

2.3 Product Descriptions & Information

• Product descriptions on our website contain relevant details about each item. • While we aim for accuracy, we do not accept responsibility for errors or omissions in product details/descriptions. Customers who rely on specific product information should contact us for confirmation.

3. Delivery

• Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Incorrect details may result in order cancellation. • We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times. Any estimated delivery times provided are for guidance only and are subject to change. • We are not liable for delays beyond our control. While we will try our best to adhere to requested delivery dates/times, we cannot guarantee them. • We reserve the right to refuse delivery if: o We deem it unsafe o It would violate legal regulations. o There is no clear access to empty cylinders for exchange. o Staff members are met with any kind of abuse.

4. Safety & Storage

• Once a product has been delivered, its safety and proper storage become the customer’s responsibility. • South West Fuels only supplies products and does not accept responsibility for their use, handling, or storage after delivery.

5. Faulty Products

• Faulty cylinders or products must be reported to us immediately. • If a cylinder is deemed faulty, we will arrange for a replacement or refund. • Cylinders returned as ‘faulty’ will not be refunded if they are empty. • We will not provide refunds for faults resulting from misuse.

6. Liability

• Our liability is limited to the price of the purchased product. • We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages that may result from the use or misuse of our products. • Once delivery is completed, we are no longer responsible for any damage to the products.

7. Changes to Terms & Conditions

• We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. • Any changes will take effect immediately after being updated on our website. For any questions regarding these terms, please contact us.
